Her Security was founded in the shadow of the John Worboys case — one of Britain's most appalling serial offenders, and proof of how completely the systems meant to protect women can fail. Too many survivors never receive the support they deserve from the authorities — and for every assault that is reported, an estimated ten to twenty more never are.

Our mission is to make as many women as possible security-aware — building the knowledge, habits and practical control measures that genuinely lower risk — inside a strong, safe community that listens, believes and supports. Change will be slow. But member by member, we are building a world where security awareness is second nature — and where these appalling statistics finally begin to fall.
